PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA IN THE CONTEXT OF THE WEB PORTAL AND MOBILE APPLICATIONS

 

Introduction

  1. This Privacy Policy for the Protection of Personal Data in the context of the Web Portal and Mobile Applications describes the treatment that our institution (hereinafter “N&P”) provides to the personal data it collects from users of our web portal and mobile applications. This policy complies with the provisions contained in the Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 29733, its Regulations, and the Information Security Directive issued by the competent authority.

Collection of Information

  1. For purposes of visiting our web portal and mobile applications, you are not required to provide personal data.
    However, in cases where you submit requests, access services that N&P provides through these means, or participate in events promoted by N&P, among others, N&P may require specific personal information necessary for that purpose. Such information may include name, identity document number, email address, and telephone number. Likewise, when the nature of the request so requires, and insofar as it is strictly necessary, N&P may require other personal data.
  1. Completion of the forms that our web portal or mobile applications require for purposes of submitting requests, accessing services, or participating in events promoted by N&P represents the express consent of the data subject for the collection of their personal data and for its processing for the specific purposes that motivated its collection.

Responsibility for Information Provided

  1. The personal data that the user provides must be, under their responsibility, true, complete, accurate, current, and correspond to their true identity.
  2. Any type of damage or harm, direct or indirect, arising for N&P or for third parties as a consequence of partial or total breach of the obligation referred to in the previous point shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the user who provided the information.

Processing of Information

  1. The personal data provided will be processed solely for the specific purpose for which it was supplied.
    N&P will not use the user’s personal data for any purpose other than that expressly provided in this Privacy Policy, unless it is a purpose expressly permitted or required by applicable current regulations or unless N&P has previously obtained the user’s due consent.
  2. N&P will not share or transfer any personal data of the user to third parties without the prior and express consent of the latter, except when such communication is required by current legislation, by court order, or by a competent authority.
  3. N&P’s web portal and its mobile applications may offer links to access other web pages that are not part of them. It is the user’s responsibility to review the privacy policies on such web pages to verify the level of protection of their personal data in that environment, which is beyond N&P’s responsibility.

Exercise of ARCO Rights

  1. The user may exercise their rights of Information, Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Revocation, Opposition, etc. (ARCO) regarding the use of their personal data, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 29733. In this regard, the user has the right, among others, to access their personal information, to request the rectification of inaccurate data, and to revoke their consent for its processing; likewise, they may request the deletion of their data or object to its processing, even when it is no longer necessary for the purposes that motivated its collection.

  3. The request will be processed within the timeframes provided in personal data protection regulations.

Changes to the Privacy Policy for the Protection of Personal Data

  1. N&P reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy for the Protection of Personal Data in the Context of the Web Portal and Mobile Applications, as well as the notice through which it is disclosed, in order to adapt it to changes that the current regulatory framework may require. It is the user’s responsibility to stay informed of this policy; therefore, each time they use our web portal or mobile applications, they should consult our Privacy Policy Notice for the Protection of Personal Data in the Context of the Web Portal and Mobile Applications.
