Together with the Canada–Peru Chamber of Commerce, the company toured the Cerro Corona facilities in Cajamarca to exchange best practices in water management, technology, and engagement with the surrounding area.

Demonstrating its commitment to operational excellence and sustainable land management, N&P Gestión Predial actively participated from May 19 to 21 in the 17th Mining Mission, organized by the Canada–Peru Chamber of Commerce to the Cerro Corona operation, a mining unit operated by Gold Fields in the province of Hualgayoc, Cajamarca.

The technical delegation, made up of leading companies in the sector, toured key areas of the operation. Highlights included the Process Plant, the Pit Lookout—where attendees learned about the innovative project to repurpose the former pit as a tailings storage facility—and the Tailings Dam Lookout, a benchmark site for high standards in water security and environmental governance.

The mission also included a visit to the district of Hualgayoc, showcasing the positive impact and economic dynamism that responsible mining generates in its areas of social influence.

The day concluded with a networking dinner in Cajamarca, where N&P strengthened important strategic connections with other suppliers and key players in the country’s mining ecosystem.
